From Historic Conversions to Modern Luxury Homes
Abrams Builders was built through hands-on experience constructing, renovating and restoring existing residential buildings in Boston and the surrounding suburbs. Founder Matthew Abrams began by renovating and restoring historic buildings including single family homes, brownstones and turn of the century mill buildings into timeless quality housing.
That foundation evolved into a residential practice focused mostly on renovation, restoration, and modernization of single-family homes, as well as selective new construction projects throughout Boston and the surrounding suburbs.

Matthew Abrams is the Founder and Principal of Abrams Builders, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in residential construction and renovation in Boston and the surrounding suburban areas. He is a licensed general contractor, real estate broker, and LEED-accredited professional. He has led a wide range of projects including single-family renovations, historic rehabilitation, new construction and selective commercial projects.
His work reflects a practical understanding of existing buildings, a strong eye for design, and a consistent focus on seamlessly blending the best of a property’s classic details with new modern touches.
